NSCI research typically includes examining issues
in detail and developing specific recommendations regarding current and future
cyberspace capabilities, challenges, and opportunities. Products resulting from
these activities include cyberspace-related research papers that
we disseminate to the various clients we support. NSCI research is typically
conducted through a combination of committees, task forces, work groups, and
advisory councils. This framework allows NSCI to include Cyberspace
professionals with significant government and/or private sector experience,
while also drawing upon broader expertise resident within other communities.
NSCI leverages a large network of affiliated experts and invites other experts
and groups to participate in research, analysis, and the development of
recommendations, and to provide plenary presentations on substantive issues.
NSCI facilitates cyberspace-related collaboration and information exchange as
often and as actively as possible. We frequently interact with DoD and industry
research laboratories to identify cyberspace research challenges and assist in
transitioning mature efforts to the operational community. |
