Hacking: For good or evil?

In 2008, Miami was the headquarters for one of the largest criminal computer hacks of all time when Alberto Gonzalez managed a global operation to victimize major U.S. corporations. Just two weeks ago, Miami was the headquarters for hundreds of ethical hackers and information security professionals.  Hacker Halted USA 2009 was held in Miami from Sept. 23 to 25 and provided the opportunity for IT security experts, managers and industry leaders to interact about the current state of information security. <more>


Cyberspace: The next "Wild West"

People have attempted to define and regulate the principles of warfare for thousands of years. From artillery warfare to air combat, the Law of Armed Conflict has shaped the way nations view war. Some have said that cyberspace is the next warfighting domain.

NSCI employee supports first Trident Warrior 2009 experiment

Cyber Warfare 2009: Conference brings international partners together
